Return/Refund/Exchange Policy

Return Process

We accept returns of merchandise within 14 days of merchandise delivery.  Returns will be accepted if merchandise is in new/"out of the box condition” (all labels, tags, and protective film is in place without having been removed and all contains any additional items included when delivered) and original packaging is retained.  Please contact us at woodenletterbanks@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with your request for return and indicate if you would like a refund or exchange. Please see Damage of Defective Merchandise and Exchange policies below for additional instruction.  Please submit all requests and images to woodenletterbanks@gmail.com

If the package has been opened.

1.     Please submit clear images of the front and back of the item(s) that are requested for return.  

This is necessary ensure that the items are in new/“out of the box” condition and the item(s) requested for return are the correct or incorrect items indicated in your order confirmation. 

If the package has not been opened upon delivery

2.     Please submit clear images of the front and back of shipping package as well as clear and full images of all attached labels indicating the name and address of sender and recipient as well as all tracking information. 

This process is to ensure the package has not been damaged during shipment (for damaged or defective items please see below for policy relating to Damaged and Defective Merchandise) and it is the intended package received from Alphabet Banks. 

Once we have received and inspected all images we will issue a return label.  

A pre-paid return label will only be supplied in the event of defective or damaged merchandise or if the incorrect merchandise was received. Please check your order confirmation and packing slip to confirm the item(s) ordered and received.  

If a return request is made for reasons other than defect, damage, or incorrect merchandise received, a label will be issued; however, the cost to return the merchandise will be the responsibility of the individual requesting the return.

Once you receive your shipping label please,

1.   Place the item(s) in the original packaging and place in the original shipping packaging or similar shipping packaging.  

2.   Cover or remove all original shipping labels and affix the supplied label to your package.  

3.  Please retain proof of return shipment/receipt including/showing carrier and tracking information.  

4. Please submit a clear image of the proof of return shipment/receipt including/showing carrier and tracking information.

4.  Once your item is returned to us in said condition in provided images, Alphabet Banks will provide a status update that your item(s) have been received and refunded to the original form of payment (less any incurred fees and return shipping costs) or exchanged as requested with new tracking information.  Please note it could take 2-10 business days to see the refund post to your account depending on your financial institution. 

The incurred fees and costs will be determined once the return is complete and will be included in the amount refunded posted to your account by your financial institution.  An estimated cost will be provided when your request is approved.

Damaged and Defective Merchandise

Please inspect your order upon receipt of delivery, and refer to the Return Process stated above for return instruction within 5 business days of delivery if the merchandise is defective or damaged so that we can proceed accordingly.  We will still accept returns of damaged or defective merchandise within 14 days of merchandise delivery as stated above as long as the request indicating the damage or defect is made to Alphabet Banks within 5 business days of delivery.

1.   Please submit clear images of the damage or defect of the item(s)

2.   If the shipping package is also damaged please provide clear images of the damaged shipping package.

If Alphabet Banks is not made aware of the damage within the first 5 days after receipt of merchandise, then the merchandise is considered used and will NOT be accepted as a damaged or defective.

Exchange

The original merchandise must be unopened in original packaging and must not be damaged. A shipping label will be provided; however, the individual requesting the exchange is responsible for all return shipping charges.  If the merchandise requested for return has been removed from the original packaging, and/or tags, labels, or protective film has been removed, the merchandise is NOT eligible for exchange.  

1.   Please submit a clear image of the item that is being returned for exchange.   This is necessary to ensure that the item requested for return is unopened. 

Upon inspection of the images, and the eligible product is accepted for exchange.  Alphabet Banks will follow the Return Process stated above.

Alphabet Banks will ship the item requested for exchange once the original item(s) is received for return. The difference in the cost of the item will be refunded or charged to the original form of payment.  If the cost of the item(s) being returned is more expensive than the item(s) requested for exchange then the customer will be refunded the amount of the difference to the original form of payment.  If the item being returned is less expensive than the item requested for exchange then the customer will be invoiced for the difference in cost.  The invoice will need to be paid by the customer prior to shipment of the new item as Alphabet Banks does not retain credit card information.  While we do have the ability to request a refund to the original form of payment, we do not have the ability to charge additional funds to the original form of payment.  

If the customer would like to have the merchandise exchanged shipped prior to the return of the original merchandise to Alphabet Banks, the customer will need to place a new order for the desired merchandise and Alphabet Banks will issue a full refund to the original form of payment when the original merchandise is returned and received by Alphabet Banks as shown in images when the exchange was accepted. The exchange process must be requested within 14 days of merchandise delivery. 

Exceptions/non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns of gift cards.

Remote/Temporary addresses

We ask you do not request delivery to a remote/temporary addresses. We do NOT grant refunds for orders not received to remote/temporary addresses. The reason for this is if delivery takes longer than expected and forwarding protocol is not properly followed by logistics or if the recipients name is not recognized by the carrier, the carrier may use discretion and hold delivery and item(s) may not be delivered.  Ordering to a remote/temporary address may cause delivery issues and result in undelivered merchandise and therefore will not be refunded in the case of non-delivered items.  

Shipping Fees

If merchandise is damaged, defective, or the incorrect item(s) is received, Alphabet Banks will incur all shipping costs related to the return and replacement of merchandise once proof is provided by the individual requesting the return according to the Return Process stated above.  A shipping label will be provided via email for orders within the United States and Canada. If the merchandise is returned for any other reason, within 14 days of merchandise delivery the individual requesting the return is responsible for all incurred fees and shipping costs related to the return process.

Cancellations

You are able to cancel your order with no penalty if we have not yet fulfilled your order.  All orders must be cancelled before they are fulfilled and sent for processing. If the item has been processed and shipped, please contact us with 24 hours of placing your order as it is not always possible to re-route a package or change a shipping address and fees may be incurred to re-route the package or change a shipping address. Please note Alphabet Banks has no control over the shipping process once it is processed and shipped by the shipping company.  Please review your order to ensure all details are correct before placing your order!
